SupplyCaddy has secured a growth investment from CEAS Investments, which is a partner in the business. The company, established in 2020, provides customised packaging and supply chain services to restaurant groups across North America and internationally.

CEO and co-founder Zachary Stein stated the investment provides additional resources to scale the business. "For six years, Bradley and I have been building a company that puts relationships ahead of transactions and long-term partnerships ahead of short-term wins," Stein said.

Client Base and Operations

SupplyCaddy currently works with more than 70 restaurant brands, covering over 6,500 sites in North America and nine overseas markets. Its client list includes major names such as sweetgreen, Dave’s Hot Chicken, Huey Magoo’s, and Burger King. The company collaborates with foodservice distribution groups such as Sysco, US Foods, Gordon Food Service, Performance Food Group, Imperial Dade and McLane.

Founders Zachary Stein and Bradley Saveth will retain oversight of the company and its commercial relationships, remaining directly engaged with each restaurant brand on the client list.

Use of Investment Funds

The new capital will be directed toward several strategic areas. A primary goal is expanding the company's manufacturing footprint in both domestic and overseas markets.

Funding will also accelerate work on packaging innovation, engineering, sustainable materials, and further investment in technology, logistics, and supply chain systems. The capital is also to be used for inventory planning, customer support, hiring in sourcing, operations and product development, and expansion into additional international markets.

Strategic Goals and Industry Impact

According to the company, the investment will help restaurant brands build more resilient supply chains, expedite product development, and help manage increasingly complex packaging programmes.

Mike Wohl, Chief Investment Officer of CEAS Investments, praised the SupplyCaddy team's execution and customer relationships. "When we first invested in SupplyCaddy, we saw a talented management team with a clear vision for addressing a significant and evolving need within the restaurant industry," Wohl said.

The investment highlights the critical role of specialised supply chain partners in the restaurant sector. It enables SupplyCaddy to deepen its support for brands navigating packaging and logistical challenges.
