Rich Products completed a $3.2 million redesign of its Customer Innovation Center at its Buffalo headquarters, transforming underutilized space into a modern, digitally powered destination. The announcement was made on Sept. 29, 2026. The center blends hospitality, culinary expertise, and advanced production capabilities to enhance storytelling and strengthen Buffalo’s role as an innovation hub within the global food company's network.

Features and Capabilities

The redesigned center includes updated production space with photography and videography studios for on-demand content like live events, webinars, trainings, and podcasts. An innovation studio features custom-designed sets representing various kitchen configurations for commercial and home cooking demonstrations, product shows, and advanced digital production.

Thoughtfully designed collaboration spaces and functional, high-end culinary and hospitality areas complete the facility. New technology is integrated throughout, including video walls, ultra-wide screens, and smart displays.

Purpose and Impact

The center enables more immersive, flexible customer experiences in person and online. It directly supports the growing demand for dynamic hybrid customer experiences. Richard Ferranti, CEO of Rich Products, emphasized the collaborative vision behind the project. "Innovation doesn’t happen in isolation," Ferranti said. "It happens when our associates and customers collaborate to solve real challenges."

The center is designed to accelerate that process, bringing together people, technology, culinary expertise and creativity in one place. This supports Rich Products’ goal of helping foodservice customers stay competitive regardless of their size.

Broader Investment Context

The Customer Innovation Center renovation is the latest investment in Rich’s world headquarters campus in Buffalo. The company has been headquartered in the city for more than 80 years. In 2025, Rich Products announced the strategic expansion of its Niagara St. Campus and acquired the historic Curtiss Malt House property at 1100 Niagara St.

That same year, subsidiary business ROAR Logistics relocated its corporate headquarters to 1120 Niagara St. The total projected investment in both Niagara St. Sites is approximately $10 million. Rich Products continues to invest in the surrounding neighborhood, reaffirming its commitment to Western New York and its status as a private, family-owned company headquartered in Buffalo.

Leadership and Vision

Rich's is a family-owned food company dedicated to inspiring possibilities. The new center embodies the principle that innovation thrives through direct collaboration. The redesigned space strengthens Buffalo’s role as an innovation hub within Rich’s global network. It enables more immersive, flexible customer experiences in person and online.
