Hand Roll Pop-Ups and More

Omakase restaurant Sushi Aozora has launched a hand roll pop-up called Te No Te in Union Square. Compared to Sushi Aozora's omakase experience, which ranges from $95 to $165 per person, Te No Te is more approachable, with temaki sets costing around $23 to $55 and individual rolls between $6 and $22.

Dim sum restaurant JoyFu has opened in Chinatown with a focus on xiao long bao, including a sampler basket that features all six of the restaurant's xiao long bao varieties. Until August 31, the restaurant is running a dine-in-only promotion of buy one, get one free soup dumplings.
